Fancy is a 1997 sorrel Quarter Horse mare. She is owned
by Jackie Baumgarner of Carpinteria, Ca. She was only shown once and took
2nd place in the halter class, the mare that beat her was a full sister. Fancy
has the bloodlines of Zippo Pine Bar, Watch Joe Jack out of Two Eyed Jack,
Sonny Dee Bar, Poco Bueno, Skipper W and Blackburn. She had an awesome
looking dun filly on June 17, 2007 out of Challenge.
Jackie has decided to put Fancy up For Sale. Her purchase price is $3000 and
she is not sound. Vet said after she had been x-rayed that she has the start to
pre-navicular due to the fact of how her feet had been kept for 2 years while she
was on a breed lease in Minnesota. He does not believe it to be a hereditary
condition. She is bred back to Challenge for a June 2008 foal. This mare will
make an awesome addition to either a Quarter Horse or Appaloosa breeding
program. She is also eligible to be registered with the National Foundation
QuarterHorse Association. My research comes up with her being 85%
foundation.

Lucy is a 2005 black and white filly. She was born on St. Patrick’s Day.
Lucy has national points in 2 Yr. Old Halter Mares (1.0 pts). She has
the bloodlines of Bright Eyes Brother, Prince Plaudit, High Hand,
Peavy Bimbo, Leo, Skipper W, Three Bars, Joe Reed II, Peppy, Midnight,
Cowboy, Old Sorrel, Bert, Top Deck, Oklahoma Star, Peter McCue and
Joe Hancock. She is going to be my daughter’s new games, roping and
reining horse when she gets old enough. She is already 15 hands and I
expect her to grow at least a few more inches before she gets done
maturing. At Lucy’s first show this year she won both her Novice Horse
Western Pleasure and Novice Horse English Pleasure classes. as a 2 Yr. Old.
At Lucy’s first Appaloosa show under saddle she was the 2007 BWApHC’s
Show’s High Point Youth Games and High Point Youth 14 - 18 horse. Lucy
is also BWApHC’s 2007 Year End High Point horse for Youth 18 and under
Barrels, Pole Bending, Keyhole and Figure 8 Stake Race.

Shorty’s sire is a son of Shorty Lena whose foals have won in excess of
$5 million. Her sire has won over $5800 in NCHA money and has his
NCHA Certificate Of Ability. Look for this filly in lunge line and halter
classes in 2008. She is going to be her dam’s replacement in the show rind.
I expect great things from this filly, since she has her dam’s big footsteps
to follow.
