Comet is a 1997 red dun mare. She has been winning in everything from
halter to games to cattle classes and reining. She has qualified for the
Appaloosa Worlds every year except in 2003 when she was recovering from
a very serious injury to her left front leg where she lost a lot of her forearm
muscle. She is a consistent 3D barrel horse and has even taken home
paychecks in the 2D barrels. She is passing on her winning ways to her
foals. Her sire Big Duke Six is a 2X World Reining Champion. She has the
bloodlines of Prince Plaudit, Joker B, Mansfields Comanche, Sundance,
Bambie, Woodrow Sheik, Poco Bueno, Skipper W, Wimpy, Peppy, Doc Bar,
Driftwood, Hollywood Gold, King P-234, Old Sorrel, Oklahoma Star, Peter
McCue, Midnight, Zan Parr Bar and Cowboy.
Her foals are also eligible to be registered with the Colorado Ranger Horse
Association and the Sundance 500 International.
